The Power of Prayer! (Scroll 10)

Even if you are a non-believer, when you encounter an accident, don’t you also cry out for help from the gods?

When faced with danger, death, or mysterious phenomena that you have never encountered or cannot explain, haven’t you cried out loud?

Every living being in a moment of danger instinctively lets out a cry. So where does this cry come from?

If you suddenly wave your hand in front of someone’s eyes, you will find that person’s eyes blink instinctively; his knees will slightly move, and his legs will also move; if you scare a friend in the dark, his instinct will let out a cry of “oh my god”.

Regardless of whether you are religious or not, no one can deny these natural phenomena. Animals in the world, including humans, all have the instinct to call for help. Why do we have this kind of instinct?

When we cry out, isn’t it a form of prayer? People can’t understand that in a world where natural laws rule, nature has given to creatures like sheep, birds, and humans, this instinct of calling for help, and at the same time, it is stipulated that this type of calling for help needs to be heard by a supernatural force and has a response.

From now on, we need to pray, but we only pray to tell us about our ignorance and mistakes.

We don’t need to pray for material satisfaction, we don’t pray for servants to bring us food and water, we don’t pray for houses, gold, silver, jewels, love, health, small victories, honor, success, or happiness. We only pray for guidance, to show us the way to get those things. Hopefully, this prayer of ours will have a response.

The guidance we pray for, may or may not be granted. But isn’t the result of these two forms a kind of response? If a child asks his father for bread. The bread does not reach his hand, isn’t that the father’s response?

I pray for guidance as a salesman.

“I pray to the Almighty, please help me! Today I am alone, empty-handed in this world. Without your guiding hand, I will stray from the path to success and happiness.

I do not ask for gold or fine clothes, I do not even ask for opportunities that match my abilities, I only ask you to guide me to have abilities that match opportunities.”

“You have taught the lion and the eagle how to use their teeth and claws to earn their food. Please teach me how to use words to earn a living, how to rely on love to gain prosperity, make me a lion among men and an eagle in the marketplace.”

“Please help me! Let me, after experiencing setbacks and failures, still treat others politely. Show me the rewards of victory”
“Give me the tasks that others have failed to complete, guide me to take the seeds of success from their failures. Let me face my fears, hone my spirit. Give me the courage to ridicule my doubts and cowards.”
“Give me enough time, let me achieve my goals. Help me to cherish each day as if it were my last.”
“Teach me to do what I say, and do it effectively. Let me keep calm and silent in the midst of nonsense rumors.”
“Require me strictly so that I can practice the habit of trying again and again, teach me to use the principle of balance, let me maintain sensitivity, to seize opportunities. Give me patience to concentrate my strength.”
“Let me practice good habits, give up evil desires. Give me sympathy, to sympathize with the weaknesses of others. Let me understand, all will pass.”

“Let me know what hatred is, so that I am no stranger to it. But give me so much love that strangers will become friends.”

“But all my requests must be in accordance with your will. I am just an insignificant character, like a lone grape on that vine. Yet you made me different from everyone else. In fact, I must have a special place. Show me, help me to see the path ahead.”

“When you planted me, so that I could grow in this world’s vineyard, let me realize that you were all in my plan.”

“Help me, humble and gentle salesman.”
“May the Almighty guide me!
